If you're an early riser you might see a few meteors streak across the sky.

The earth is passing through the tail of Halley's Comet, which could lead to some cool spacey sights in the sky. Halley's Comet produces two meteor showers. The Eta Aquarids in April and May, and the Orionids in October. The Eta Aquarids shower lasts until May 21, but will peak this week. This particular meteor shower is notoriously hard to spot.

Overnight May 4-5 and 5-6 will feature the best viewing. A few hours before dawn is when you could see about 10-20 meteors per-hour. Those meteors by the way are traveling at 148,000 MPH.

NASA says you might start to see meteors tonight and a few days after peak viewing.

Halley's Comet will wiz by earth again in 2061.
