It's pretty tough to nestle deeper into the lap of luxury after being married to Mick Jagger, but Jerry Hall is pulling it off with her next trip down the aisle — with multi-billionaire media kingpin Rupert Murdoch.

Hall and Murdoch announced their engagement yesterday, spreading the news via an advertisement posted in one of the News Corporation CEO's many newspapers. "Mr. Rupert Murdoch," begins the announcement, "father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger, are delighted to announce their engagement."

"They have loved these past months together," added a News Corporation spokesperson, describing the couple as "thrilled to be getting married and excited about their future."

The pair's relationship has been a matter of tabloid speculation for weeks, with People recently reporting on their joint attendance (with public smooch!) at the Rugby World Cup Final in October. Neither Hall nor Murdoch had deigned to comment publicly on their rumored romance until now.

Hall and Murdoch have both been down the aisle before. Hall, a former model and actress, was already world-famous when she embarked on her lengthy relationship with Jagger, which started in 1977 and lasted until 1999. Although they were married in 1990, the marriage was later annulled by the High Court in London on the grounds that the Indonesian ceremony was "not valid either in Indonesia or under English law."

This will be the fourth marriage for Murdoch, whose previous attempt at wedded bliss, to TV executive Wendi Deng, ended in 2013.
