Jersey Shore Star And Cherryfield Fiance Welcome Baby Girl

Jersey Shore star Jennifer "Jwoww" Farley and her fiance, Cherryfield native Roger Mathews are now the proud parents of a baby girl!

Meilani Alexandra Mathews was born on Sunday, July 13th, at 12:49AM and came into this world weighing in at seven pounds and 13 ounces.

The couple released a statement yesterday that included, "Meilani and her parents are doing great and are happy and healthy. Meilani is already looking to trade in her baby bottle for barbells."

Jersey Shore is a popular reality series produced by MTV and Farley is one of the original  stars from the show.  The show produced the popular spin off series "Snooki & Jwow."

Jennifer Farley and Roger Mathews made headlines in our area last September when they paid a visit to Acadia National Park.  She posted pictures on her Twitter account of the couple hiking, water skiing and riding an ATV.  She also made mention that she saw her first ever falling star while on MDI, she said,"“Just saw a falling star with my babe. First time ever! So cool.”
