Jordan’s Snack Bar Temporarily Closes

What?  No fried shrimp, french fries and chocolate shake?  Not today, at least.

Jordan's Snack Bar, one of Ellsworth's most popular eateries is closed.

A posting on the Snack Bar's website and a sign on the business itself says:

To our valued customers and friends... We are sorry to inform you that we have had to close temporarily due to a family situation. Like many seasonal businesses, staffing has been a challenge this year for certain positions and we want to be able to maintain the level of service and quality of food that you’ve always enjoyed at Jordan’s. Missing one or two critical people makes it impossible to keep up with the demand. We thank you for your understanding and promise to update you here as soon as possible.

We truly hope that all works out soon, so that locals and those from away can enjoy one the area's best summertime experiences!
