Jordan’s Snack Bar To Re-Open This Thursday

Once again, one of Ellsworth's most popular eateries will be open!

Jordan's Snack Bar in Ellsworth will re-open for business this Thursday, serving locals and those from away with some of the best take-out or eat-in food around!

If you remember, and we know that you do, Jordan's suddenly closed its doors back on June 8th.  Folks were very surprised that such a popular business would shut down during its busiest season.

Just yesterday, this was posted to the Jordan's Facebook page:

"We are pleased to announce that we will be reopening on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. We thank you all for your patience and understanding as we took time to put together a manageable plan for moving forward. We've made some tough decisions in order to be able to serve the best quality food with a smaller staff. We'll still have many of your favorites and hope that you will be accepting of our changes. We'll be posting weekly specials and Cruise-In information in the coming days and will launch our new website very soon. The Jordan family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for all your kind words and support. We consider you all our "downeast family."

We're very pleased that the owners of this Downeast institution were able to work it out, because yeah, we're hungry!
