The Bangor Police Department has reopened the Kenduskeag Plaza parking lots this morning, after the Stream failed to overflow during high tide.

Bangor Police closed the Kenduskeag Stream parking garage yesterday as a precaution, as the Kenduskeag Stream swelled. An abundance of rain and ice buildup in the stream had police and city officials fearing it might flood.

It was announced on the Bangor PD's Facebook page this morning that the plaza has been reopened. The next high tide is expected to be lower than the last, so the flooding threat is over for now.
