When we first met her, way back in the ‘90s, Keri Russell was the star of the TV drama ‘Felicity,’ in which she played a naive young student who followed her high school crush to college.

We’ve had the pleasure of watching the gorgeous actress mature over the past several years and take on interesting new roles, like the sunny but burdened lead in the indie film ‘Waitress,’ the resolute secret agent in ‘Mission: Impossible 3,’ and the object of Ed Norton’s affections on the underrated comedy ‘Leaves of Grass.'

Now comes a new challenge for Russell: She’s returning to TV as a Soviet KGB sleeper agent living in Cold War America in the new FX action drama ‘The Americans.’ We’re looking forward to seeing Russell reclaim the spotlight on TV as an ass-kicking, double-dealing spy.

Check out Keri Russell in ‘The Americans,’ which premieres on FX January 30. Until then, enjoy the following photos.
