Aurora Borealis Over Moosehead Lake

Even more stunning footage!

Photographer Mike Taylor captured some amazing footage of last week's Aurora Borealis! Taylor recorded the footage on the shore of Moosehead Lake. The time-lapse video recorded the Northern Lights from about 10PM to nearly 3AM.

A powerful geomagnetic storm that erupted from the sun caused the rainbow of colors to extend further south than usual. The lights extended as far south as Virginia and Kansas.
