Interleague play seemed to be just what the doctor ordered as the Boston Red Sox beat Atlanta for the second time in as many nights with a 6-3 victory.Boston used a 4-run seventh inning highlighted by a Jackie Bradley Jr. 2-rbi single. David Ortiz and Grady Sizemore also drove i a run in the inning which accounted for the final runs of the game. Dustin Pedroia collected three hits on the on the night as the Sox out hit the Braves 12 to 10.

Jon Lester earned his 5th win of the season going the first six innings with 7 strikeouts, 8 hits, and 3 runs. Koji Uehara closed out the game for his 11th save of the season.

The two teams head north an will play the next couple nights at Fenway Park with John Lackey facing Gavin Floyd.
