For the second time in the series Jon Lester dominated the St. Louis lineup helping Boston win game 5 of the World Series 3-1. Lester went 7.2 innings allowing just 4 hits and a run while striking out 7. David Ortiz, David Ross and Jacoby Ellsbury each drove in a run to provide the offense. It was a ground rule double by Ross in the 7th inning that turned out to be the game winning run. The Red Sox can close out the series when it moves back to Boston for game 6 on Wednesday. You can hear the game live at 7pm on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
