Another devastating fire has left many in Lewiston homeless. Many have lost everything they own. This veteran didn't lose quite everything.

Eleven families have been displaced after a massive fire tore through a 17 unit apartment building. Fire crews from all over the state helped battle the blaze, that took several hours to get under control. The State Fire Marshals Office is investigating.

The Red Cross is helping the families who lost their homes.

Morgan Sturdivant of WMTW spoke with one man who didn't lose everything, thanks to the Lewiston Fire Department. Veteran, Lee Daniels, says he's thankful Lewiston Fire Department was able to save his American flag from the burning building.

Firefighters where also able to save cats and reunite them with their owners.
