Litter Pick Up Day In Bangor Is The 24th!

On Sunday the 24th, Keep Bangor Clean, a group committed to doing just what its name implies, will hold a "Litter Pick Up Day" in downtown Bangor, and you can help!

Keep Bangor Clean is a group of local people stressing the need to throw away all things properly and to keep the streets of our city litter free.

Volunteers are needed for this special day!  If you'd like to participate, plan on meeting at  Pickering Square a little bit before 1pm!  The group will pick up litter around downtown Bangor for about 2 hours, then reconvene. They stress to dress warmly and to wear gloves, although rubber gloves will be provided.

This is a great way for you to make a difference!
