Step back into the late 1700's this weekend in Bradley. See an old saw mill in action, try some beanhole beans, and learn all about lumber and logging in the early years.

With the wooded grounds at Leonard's Mills covered in white cloth tents and a mix of lumberers, soldiers, and women in big dresses and bonnets you will feel like you are in another time.

Kids will love the animals, riding behind a horse, making yarn and cutting wood by hand. Lunch is traditionally beanhole beans cooked in a pot in the ground with warm cider!

There will be a chantey group from the Pembroke area performing historic songs of Maine lumberjacks and river drivers on Sunday. Join in the singing from 1-3.

The event takes place October 7th and 8th from 10AM-4PM.
