The first ever Penobscot Music Festival featuring eight local bands will rock the walls of Jeff's Catering in Brewer on Sunday, May 25th between 4pm and midnight!

The concert and jam session was put together by Vinny Cormier from the band "Dakota", and will benefit The Autism Society of Maine. Cormier hopes that the Penobscot Music Festival will turn into an annual event that will benefit other causes too as the years go by.

Bands that will play that afternoon and evening will be Dakota, the Allison Ames Band, Sideways, Midnight Rose, Live Wire, Shyboy, Overdrive and The Resistance!  All these local bands are well known in our area and are proven winners!

In an article in today's Bangor Daily News Cormier said, "These aren't just little bands, they're heavy weights who play through the circuit in the Bangor area.  What a way to give back to the community by having a music festival!"

There's a suggested donation of $2 at the door and food and beverages will be available for sale.  Rock on!
