Loon Tangled In Fishing Line Has Happy Ending Thanks To Resourceful Mainers

I found this wonderful story on Facebook at the page of Jack Bailey from Silver Lake in Lee, Maine.

Their story tells of a loon who got tangled up in fishing line making it unable to eat. The Maine Game Warden Gavin had been trying to find it for about a week. Then on Saturday Bailey's neighbor Shawn corralled it on a beach and with help of several other neighbors was able to cover it with a towel and basket until Game Warden Davis arrived. this is a terrific Labor Day Weekend story with a very happy ending.
