This week we are featuring a very sweet and energetic dog named Luna.

She is a one-year-old Catahoula Leopard mix, with a beautiful brindle coat and the sweetest face you'll ever see!  Luna has been learning leash manners and has done very well. She already knows a few basic commands, but is highly intelligent and loves to learn. Luna can be overly enthusiastic at times, so we don't recommend a home for her with small children.  She seems to fine with cats and loves to play with other dogs!  She is a very special girl who needs to find a home with active people who will be able to give her a lot of attention give her the proper training she wants so badly.

Luna is up to date on her shots, spayed, micro-chipped and ready for her forever home.

All adoption fees are half priced through the end of the month. To meet Boo or any of the other wonderful dogs and cats at the SPCA of Hancock County, please visit the shelter at 141 Bar Harbor Road. They are open Tuesdays through Sundays. You can also visit the SPCA online at www.spcahancockcounty.org or give us a call at (207) 667-8088. Even if you are not ready for a new pet, they are always looking for volunteers.
