Even though the vote has passed here in Maine to legalize marijuana until they sort out the particulars about the sale of it you still can’t sell it legally. That said I guess there is no law against giving it away. 

The way one Portland company named Elevation 207 justifies their distribution of pot to the masses is by claiming the pot is free but the delivery service will cost you dearly. A recent story on Fox says this the group delivers to homes or businesses with delivery charges from $75.00 to $250 .00 depending on how much gets delivered.

The article goes on to say they are mostly ignored by the police and even a Maine attourney says the laws are grey around the subject at this time.
