As a fella who surfs all over the world, you wouldn't expect Maine to be a surfer destination. In summer Maine has little choice surf, but in fall it's a different story. In fall Maine tends to get more off-shore wind, creating better surf. But as Warren talks about in the article, it's pretty damn cold! He calls Maine surfers 'diehard.'

Warren and his camera men rented a home in Maine for three months capturing footage for a photography show called 'Fix the Shadows.' Originally for profit, after Hurricane Sandy the guys chose to send the profits to charity. They also mentioned how the surf after the storm was pretty great.
