Maine Fisherman on New Season of ‘Deadliest Catch’

Got crabs?...that sounds wrong...

The ever popular Discovery Channel show 'Deadliest Catch' has started filming its 11th season. The show follows brave fishermen risking their lives in pursuit of Alaskan king crab.

Longtime fisherman Jonathan McDaniel of Gorham will join the crew of the Time Bandit. McDaniel has fished lobster in the Gulf of Maine and king crab in Alaska. That experience will hopefully come in handy for captain Jonathan Hillstrand.

McDaniel will make the 4,000 mile trip back to Maine after about a month of fishing.

The new season of Deadliest Catch will air next spring.
