I am a huge fan of the Maine Forest and Logging Museum in Bradley.  They have so many beautiful trails to hike and this weekend they are hosting a Heavy Metal event of sorts.

In their case the heavy metals are being heated and pounded into useful and creative items and their heavy machinery will be whiring away as well. These exhibits are set up for the whole family to enjoy and you can even try your hand at forging too.

Along with the exhibits the volunteers will be selling real honest to goodness logging food like bean hole beans & campfire biscuits.

In addition the sawmills will be in use and the Maine invented Steam Lombard will be traveling around the encampment.  There will also be live music “From Away Downeast” entertaining visitors with logging camp songs.

The event is going on Saturday July 28, 2018 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Admission is $10 adults/$5 children under 12 Members get in Free!
