Maine Scam Alert: Thieves Preying On Home Owners With Home Security Systems

Another day, another scam.

Information on this one was posted today by the Auburn Maine Police Department, and warns of scammers approaching home owners that display signage indicating that their property is protected by a home security company.

Unfortunately, once again the moral of the story is:  "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see."
