Not a bad start for this Deering High grad!

Julie Civiello has spent five years in L.A. dreaming for a big break. Her patience has been rewarded! The 26 year-old will make her big debut Tuesday night on the ABC show 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

Civiello's acting career started as an elementary school student at the Children’s Theatre of Maine. After graduating Deering High in 2005, she moved to California. There she picked up multiple jobs as a personal assistant, a waitress at two different restaurants, tutor and worked at an art store.

She tells the Portland Press Herald that her big break came being a personal assistant for 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' lead actor, Clark Gregg. She became friends with one of the shows producers, who promised her a suitable part when the right roll came up. Well it did!

Tomorrow night Civiello will play a newlywed named Nicole. Her scene will appear late in the episode, when Nicole's honeymoon is unexpectedly cut short by a visit from a seductress.

She says she hopes her characters roll will be a recurring one.

'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' is on ABC tomorrow night at 8.
