Here in Maine the need for blood transfusions continue between Thanksgiving Day and the New Year, but unfortunately the supply of donated blood could very well be low.  Can you help?

This time of year the American Red Cross becomes concerned about the supply as people become busy with many things other than donating much needed blood.

The blood that you donate could save a life. What better feeling could there be during the holidays than saving a life?

You can always call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to schedule an appointment to donate.  Or, stop by during one of these Red Cross sessions:

Friday, November 20th, 1-6PM at the Unity Community Market, 368 Thorndike Road.

Saturday, November 21st, 9AM-2PM at VFW Bangor, 1368 Hammond Street Extension, Bangor.

Monday, November 23rd, 10AM-3PM, at Camden National Bank, 245 Commercial Street, Rockport.

Monday, November 23rd, Noon-5PM, at Elm Street School in East Machias.

Tuesday, November 24th, 10AM-3PM at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor.

Tuesday, November 24th, Noon-5PM, at St. Joseph's Church at the corner of Main  and High Streets In Ellsworth.

Wednesday, November 25th, 9AM-2PM, at the Searsport Town Hall, Union Street in Searsport.

Friday, November 27th, Noon-5PM, at the YMCA, 501 Stillwater Avenue in Old Town.
