Maine's Brian Butterfield is part of the Red Sox contingent in Minneapolis for the MLB All Star Game. In fact, the entire Sox coaching staff is with John Farrell and he makes decisions for tonight's game.

Farrell also picked Cleveland manager Terry Francona and Twins skipper Ron Gardenhire to help out as well.

Butterfield is the Sox third base coach and the son of the late Jack Butterfield, UMaine baseball coach.

He was an all star coach back in 1995 under manager Buck Showalter.

The two Sox players on the AL squad are Jon Lester and Koji Uehara.

You can hear the game live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket tonight with coverage beginning at 7pm.
