What will Mainers be wearing this Halloween?

Online coupon site, SumoCoupon, has crunched the numbers. The site researched each state's trending costume based on what residents are Googleing this season. Apparently you'll see a lot of pirates here in Maine this Halloween.

SumoCoupon probably doesn't know about our yearly pirate festivals, and hockey team the Portland Pirates. Perhaps the numbers are a little skewed...then again South Dakota and Alaska like our pirate idea! Or our booty, giggity.

New Hampshire folks are crazy cat people. Massachusetts will be a sea of sexiness as their top costume is Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games. In the 'Not Surprised' category, Vermont folks are dressing up as cows...

I am a little surprised Florida didn't join Oregon and New Mexico as zombies...maybe it's still too soon.
