Maine’s Own Forrest Gump Runs Across America For The Wounded Warrior Project

This young soldier, Tysen Ober. a 23 year old student/soldier from Dover-Foxcroft Maine is  planning to run 3,500 miles cross country from Los Angeles, CA to Lubec, ME his goal is to raise $50,000  and and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project..

His webpage AllOberAmerica.org says of the people he hopes to help and inspire:

"These men and women gave so much for their country and deserve to be recognized for everything they have done. I'm looking to inspire people to get out, get active and get involved in giving back to this great country. All charitable donations as well as left over money from the running expenses will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project to help with their wonderful cause. The WWP aids soldiers in their road to recovery after traumatic injuries, physical or otherwise and I encourage you to check out their website.
