Our SPCA of Hancock County Pet of the Week is a beautiful five year-old tabby cat who has finished her motherly duties and is now ready to meet her best forever friend!

As soon as Frieda notices you, she gets up from her bed and comes to greet you. Her fur is soft and fine, and she uses that to lure you in to pet her. She loves attention and is eager to make friends!

If you look closely, you might notice that Freida’s upper lip looks a bit different than most cats. Freida has an autoimmune condition that flared up while she was raising her kittens, and caused her to develop a sore spot there. Luckily, now that she’s at the shelter, this can be managed with medicine! Her lip is healing up. As long as her future family makes sure to keep up with her medication, Frieda expects to live a long and happy life!

For more information about Frieda, please give the shelter a call at 667-8088!
