A man wanted in connection with three murders in New York may be hiding out in Maine.

Brewer Police say they've received tips from the New York Police Department that 51-year-old Sam Cross of the Bronx may be in the area. He's a suspect in the shooting deaths of three people in New York and was allegedly captured on surveillance video, fleeing the scene. He's described as being 5'7" tall and weighing 200 pounds.

According to the New York Daily News, Cross is a suspect in a shooting outside a Castle Hill strip mall in June. Cross is accused of shooting Mustafa Tarver and Christopher Alleyne in the head. Arileida Jiminez was standing nearby, handing out insurance pamphlets, when a bullet struck her in the torso. Investigators believe the shooting was gang-related.

A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 1-800-577-8477 or your local police department.
