As the temperatures head into the 90's staying hydrated is top of the list for Bangor's residents.

Whether homeless or low income of the elderly Manna located on Union Street in Bangor is there to provide this vital need, but they can't do it without help from the community.  Manna is looking for water donations to help ensure the safety of all those at risk during the coming heat wave.

Water can be dropped off right there at the old brick church located at 126 Union Street in Bangor. They are open Monday - Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Anyone who wishes to help but has questions or for those in need Manna can be reached at 852-5635

Also for anyone in need of a cool location please let them know the Manna's soup kitchen is opens at 1:00 during the summer months to allow for people to get out of the heat.
