I can't tell you just HOW EXCITED we are for our Blues, Brews & BBQ event that happens Saturday, August 1st, on the Bangor Waterfront!

Finally, Bangor has its own blues festival, and we have some great acts lined up for you, including Mark "Guitar" Miller!

Mark made the trip down the Interstate from East Millinocket to our studios here in Brewer, and we're glad he did!  He talked about local music in Maine, working with the late Brad Delp of Boston, his aspirations to move along to the Texas music scene, and then he played us a great blues song! You can watch the video above.

Mark will join three other acts that we have lined up for Blues, Brews & BBQ:  Stesha Cano and The Jerks, Poke Chop & The Other White Meat, and of course the headliner, Texas Flood!

By the way, check out my interview with Tommy Kotana!  Tommy's the leader of Texas Flood, and plays a great blues guitar!  He also sounds a lot like Stevie Ray Vaughn and plays a lot of the late great guitarist's music!  Tommy's also really looking forward to coming to Maine for more reasons than one!

The music starts at 2 p.m. that Saturday and will continue until it's done!  Nocturnem Draft Haus will serve up the brews and both Nostrano and Hero's will serve up their GREAT food!
