Michigan Man Wanted for Killing His Wife Spotted in Maine

Police in Maine have received reports of sightings of a man wanted for a Michigan murder. Harold 'Butch' Knight is considered a suspect in the strangulation death of his wife, Sara Lee Knight. Sara is originally from Turner, Maine.

According to the Associated Press, the Allegan County Sheriff's office in Michigan says Maine law enforcement officials are confident that Harold Knight is in Maine. Several possible sightings in our state have been reported to police.

Michigan police have issued a murder arrest warrant for the 66-year-old for allegedly strangling his wife and leaving her body at their home last week. He hasn't been heard from since the day she died.

Police say Knight could be driving a light green 2009 Subaru Forrester with Michigan license plate GM74A. He's described as 6 feet 4 inches tall and 245 pounds. Anyone who thinks they may have seen Knight or the vehicle is asked to call police immediately.
