Fleetwood Mac became closely associated with the Clinton administration after their hit 'Don't Stop' was used as a de facto campaign theme. But the future president might have changed that sentiment to "Don't! Stop!" if he had known what Mick Fleetwood was up to.

Turns out, as revealed in the drummer's new autobiography 'Play On: Now, Then and Fleetwood Mac,' Fleetwood once urinated on the White House lawn -- with Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary just feet away -- when he couldn't find another place to go before a 2001 concert.

"I was dying to pee, and I didn't have time to go back to the house before we appeared," Fleetwood told the Guardian. "I was saying to my manager, 'What the f--- am I going to do?'"

Fleetwood admits to being caught by the president's personal detail, but he says his hosts never found out. "The security guys must have heard, because suddenly this fella with an earpiece said something like, 'Permission granted to urinate on the lawn,'" Fleetwood added. "I don't think Bill and Hillary knew about it, but they'd forgive me."

At the time, Fleetwood Mac were performing at the White House in a surprise appearance as Clinton left office. More recently, the band has been touring the U.S. with a newly returned Christine McVie, with plans for a 2015 tour of Europe also announced.
