Mike Rowe Speaks Out About Our Dysfunctional Relationship With Work

I'll tell you there is something about Mike Rowe that is so cool, honest and respectable. Doesn't hurt that he's sexy as all get out too...but I digress.

Recently Mike Rowe spoke to USA TODAY about the job boom that’s estimated to add 2.5 million new, middle-skill jobs to the workforce. He is passionate about making trades cool and more sought after by the younger generation.

This is not a new idea for Mike back in 2011 he did the video below on the topic and it actually prompted a movement called MikeRoweWorks that encourages states to embrace and encourage their young people to see the value in trades and the work available and to train them to take advantage of these jobs. He even got to go to Washington and address the Senate.
