We’ve all heard it said, ‘When life gives you lemons make lemonade’.  Well in Minnesota when snow threatens your greenhouses you make a 50 foot snow man.

Minnesota farmer Greg Novak knew he had to clean up the nuisance snow, but he also thought it would be a great way to perk up his Gilman community deep in the winter doldrums.

Hundreds of hours and about five weeks later, people began flocking to Novak's farm as news of his impressive creation filled up every platform across media and the web.

A little brother to the record holder made right here in Bethel Maine in 2008 which measured in at 122 feet high and was named Olympia after former Senator Olympia Snowe. Novak says that breaking the record was not on his mind. He just wanted to make people smile and he has.
