Mirror, Mirror Who Wants To Buy Junk Food?
Could you look yourself in the eye, then load your grocery cart up with root beer and ice cream bars? No, literally. In an attempt to get us to buy healthier food, physicians and grocers are advocating for placing mirrors on shopping carts.
The theory behind it is that people might glimpse themselves in the mirror, suddenly remember that they’re fatter than they would like to be, and make healthier food choices.
My thought of this is that you can’t dictate folks to react to something that isn’t their conviction. Personally I’d just go to a different store.
