Our Pet of the Week is a beautiful white and tortoise shell cat named Miss Priss.  This 12-year-old cat was surrendered to the SPCA when her elderly owner went into a nursing home. Miss Priss would love to find a quiet and loving forever home for the holidays. She is a little shy and doesn’t like loud noises so a home without small children or other pets would probably be best. Miss Priss is spayed, up to date with her shots and ready for adoption.

To meet Miss Priss, or  any of the other wonderful cats and dogs at the SPCA of Hancock County, please visit the shelter at 141 Bar Harbor Road. They're open Tuesdays through Sundays.

You can also visit them online at www.spcahancockcounty.org or give them a call at (207) 667-8088. Adoption fees will be greatly reduced this coming weekend during the annual Kitty Palooza event. The adoption fee for senior cats like Miss Priss will be waived during Kitty Palooza.
