Check it out, the cavalry continues to arrive!

This photo was taken at noontime today, Wednesday, November 1st.  It shows crews from Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky and Canada all getting their work orders while parked at the York weigh station on the Maine Turnpike!

According to information provided by the Maine State Police, there are 568 broken utility poles here in Maine, so these guys really have their work cut out for them.

According to a press release from Emera Maine, crews are certainly making progress, but final restoration times are still sitting at 10PM this Friday night for most, and sometime on Saturday for the rest.  Please be patient.

If you need someplace warm, to take a shower, or even to just recharge a cell phone, the Maine Emergency Management Agency has released an update LIST of places that are available in your area.
