Clearly the directors don't realize Maine is a few hours north...

A new film starring former SNL funny man Jason Sudeikis, Rebecca Hall and Blythe Danner is being filmed in north-central Massachusetts. The film is said to be based in Maine but will be filmed at New England Studios in Devens, Mass.

The The Massachusetts Film Office told the Portland Press Herald:

'The film revolves around a young widow played by Hall struggling to cope with the death of her husband, an acclaimed folk singer. Her life is interrupted when an unwelcome writer from New York played by Sudeikis comes to her rural Maine town to research her husband and his music, changing her life in ways she never expected.'

Based on Sudeikis' Maine based SNL skits, we can expect some terrible Maine accents. Then again, his character is from New York so we may be spared.

The film is titled 'Tumbledown.' It also stars Griffin Dunne of 'Dallas Buyers Club' and Joe Manganiello of 'Magic Mike' fame.
