Meet Mr. Whiskers!

He is a large, long-haired kitty about 3 years old and he looks very much like a Maine Coon cat, although we cannot be sure of his lineage. Mr. Whiskers is an independent cat who enjoys attention and affection on his terms only. He gets along with most other cats, and does well living in a community room at the shelter; however, because of his size and bold personality, he has a tendency to be a bit of a bully with timid cats.

Mr. Whiskers loves kitty treats and will eat them right out of your hand. He will do best in a home with humans who will give him the space he needs. And because he is not shy about letting you know when he wants to be left alone, a home with small children is not recommended. But if you are looking for a cat who is large and in charge, Mr. Whiskers may just be the perfect feline for you!
