Museum Offers Reward for Piece of Meteoroid that Exploded Over Maine

What will you spend the $20,000 reward on?

The Maine Mineral and Gem Museum took to Facebook to announce they're offering up a $20,000 reward to the first person who can find one-kilogram of meteorite from the fireball that was seen across Maine.

Experts believe the explosion happened about 18 miles west of Rangeley in Franklin County.

In addition to the cash the extraterrestrial treasure hunter will receive a place of honor in the museum’s Meteorite Hall.
