National Weather Service Looking For Maine Storm Spotters

Lace up the winter boots and grab that measuring stick, winter is almost here!

The National Weather Service will hold a "Winter Weather Skywarn talk in Bangor, on Thursday, October 27th.  If you've ever had any interest in being a "storm spotter", someone who reports stuff like snowfall amounts, beach erosion and ice jams, then be there for the training!  The NWS wants YOU!

They'll train you how to accurately report winter weather events to the National Weather Service in Caribou.
