New And Improved Bangor Flower And Garden Show [INFO & Preview]

There is nothing like a cold Spring to make you pine for the smell of flowers, grass and, well, pine.And that is why the Bangor Flower and Garden Show in its new location is a well anticipated event.

The Bangor Flower and Garden Show is kicking off Friday April 20th at 10 AM in the UMaine Alfond Arena it will be exciting to see how this new venue will hold up to past events.Full to capacity with landscape exhibits, on stage presentations,garden products and services and great inspiring ideas and information the arena will be transformed into the spring tableau we have all needed.

Another nice thing about the Alfond is all the free and convenient parking.  Admission to the show is $10.00 with kids under 12 free.  Along with the Friday hours 10- 6 it will be open Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 10-4.

In case you have never been to the Alfond, from I-95: I-95 to Stillwater Ave. (exit 193/Old Town). North on Stillwater Ave. to College Ave. (second set of traffic lights, just across the river). East (right) on College Ave. about 1 mile to Alfond Arena. Arena is on the left side of the road. It is unmarked (there is a large University of Maine sign).
