New David Ortiz Candle Is A Home Run!

First there were chips and salsa.  Now, Big Papi has his own candle!

David Ortiz has brightened the lives of many, and will continue to do so with his very own Yankee Candle product!

If you think it smells like victory, you're right, all proceeds will benefit the David Ortiz Children's Fund, which helps less fortunate kids in both New England and the Dominican Republic obtain the pediatric care they need.

Actually, according to the Yankee Candle website, the fragrance is "An intoxicating and masculine blend of musk, patchouli, sage and mahogany cologne."  The site says that Big Papi picked this fragrance out himself!

Does he mind that that the company producing the candle is called "Yankee?"  Apparently not.  After beating the Yankees back in 2004, who cares?!
