The 18th season of Dancing With The Stars will premiere March 17th on ABC TV with a new co-host, and she's a Maine native!

It was announced this morning that former DWTS contestant and current Fox sports reporter Erin Andrews will replace departed co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet.

Erin Andrews, 35,  was born in Lewiston, before departing for Tampa, Florida, as a young girl.  Erin was born to Paula Andrews, a teacher, and Steven Andrews, who was a TV journalist in the area at the time.

Erin was a contestant during season 10 of Dancing With The Stars, she and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, placed third.

This season's  Dancing With The Stars contestants will be announced March 4th on ABC's Good Morning America.
