New Hampshire Police Chief Resigns in Nude Photo Scandal

David Seastrand, 50, a now former police chief of New London New Hampshire, has quit his job after a student at a nearby college accused him of asking her if he could take nude pictures of her.  It gets even weirder.

According to officials in New Hampshire, the chief arrested the Colby- Sawyer student for underage drinking as she left a party. Three days later, he called her and she went down to the police station, where he allegedly said that he would drop the charge against her if he could take her picture while she was nude.

The student then contacted a different set of authorities in New Hampshire.

State officials have said that the former Chief has admitted no wrongdoing, but has resigned his job and surrendered his certification as a police officer in order not to face criminal charges.

The coed still faces charges of underage drinking as well as giving police a false name.
