New Music, Art, and Dance Venue Opening in Downtown Bangor

This is exactly the space downtown Bangor has been needing! 

The new Bangor Arts Exchange Ballroom venue or 'BAE' has been a big project taken on by the Bangor based group, LaunchPad.

This new venue located on Exchange st. will be a multi art center with a working relationship with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and the Bangor Ballet. LauchPad is responsible for smaller but similar venue Central Gallery on Central St. After seeing success with that space the need for the larger Ballroom venue was obvious.

'BAE' has announced a few shows and plan to open in September according to their website. Their event schedule on Facebook shows the first scheduled show as local heavy rockers Holy Filth and Portland's Hessian playing September 29th. The next night is sure to be a busy one with Southern Maine Rapper, Spose.
