So here we are on the brink of another Holiday get together.  Now, for many of us it might be our intentions to be less annoying as we bring 2016 to a close. And yet for those of you looking to twist a few Holiday tails this information can be just as helpful, you grinchy Grinch you. A poll has found that the most annoying word or phrase used in casual conversation in America is “whatever." “Whatever” irritates 38 percent of Americans.

The Washington Post says the pollsters offered up the rest of the top 5 most annoying words or phrases. They are in no specific order:

  • ''No offense, but"
  • 'Ya know, right"
  • ''I can't even"
  • "huge"

Let's see is we can use them all in one sentence.

No offense Aunt Margaret but I can't even tell you what a HUGE pleasure it is to see you on Christmas without having an argument, I mean Trump smump.. whatever!  ya know, right?? l Now let's go see where they are hiding the liquor.

I think you get the idea.
