Many people know about the abandoned locomotives of Eagle Lake, but getting there isn't always easy. This video shows why the trek is worth it!

These once active trains were left in a shed in the northern Maine woods near Eagle Lake. The shed, for unknown reasons, burned down years ago. Now the trains are left exposed to Maine's harsh weather, and the occasional visitors.

One of the best times to access the trains is winters via snowmobile, but they can be reached year round. The trail is about a mile in  with rusty things and old tracks to see along the way.
