A man from New York and a woman from Bangor are accused of trafficking in oxycodone, crack cocaine, and suboxone.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, with assistance from the Bangor Police Department, has spent the past several weeks investigating the illicit sale of crack cocaine and Oxycodone from a Larkin Street residence in Bangor. As part of the investigation, undercover drug agents were able to make purchases of the drugs from people inside the single family home.

During a search of the home on Thursday night, drug agents seized Oxycodone, Suboxone, and over $6,000 in suspected drug proceeds, as well as other evidence of drug trafficking. Arrested, as part of this investigation:

  • Douglas Lewis, age 31 of New York, NY. He's charged with Class 'B' Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs
  • Megyn Voisine, age 27 of Bangor, Maine. She's charged with Class B Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. Voisine is currently out on bail for other drug charges, and so was also charged with Violation of Conditions of Release.

Both Lewis and Voisine were taken to Penobscot County Jail, and are expected to be arraigned on Friday. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
