This past Sunday night an Alaskan television reporter quit while live on air.  This is always interesting.

Charlo Greene had just finished up a story about the Alaska Cannabis Club on KTVA-TV's 10 p.m. newscast when during the live broadcast she suddenly made the announcement that she was the owner of the medical marijuana business.

“Now everything you've heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska," she said. "And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f**k it, I quit.”

And with that being said she walked off the set.

Management of KTVA, the new cast producers and the on air anchor had no idea that Greene was about to quit.

Following the newscast Greene was asked by reporters why she quit in such a way and she replied,  "because I wanted to draw attention to this issue. And the issue is medical marijuana."

This election day in Alaska voters there will decide whether to legalize the recreational use of pot.
